Exclusive partnership puts Mediastation content centrestage in Panasonic Technology Centre at Pinewood Studios

An exclusive marketing deal with electronics giant Panasonic has given one of the UK’s most successful digital agencies an enviable showcase for its innovative output.

Visitors to the Panasonic Experience Centre at Pinewood Film Studios, which shows off the company’s latest display technologies and products to industry professionals, will exclusively demonstrate content produced by Mediastation Creative Solutions.

Mediastation, based at Cranleigh near London, has produced a torrent of award-winning digital content including work for EA Games, Red Bull and; imagery for the website and TV commercials for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a CGI cabin interior visualization for American Airlines; the BAE Multimedia Jukebox for BAE Systems, and most recently the Jameson Gesture Experience currently being rolled out at European airports.

All of this is now at the heart of the just-opened Panasonic Experience Centre where the very latest in professional quality display equipment, much of it not yet available on the market, is on display.

Panasonic is using the exhibition as a hands-on laboratory to highlight its leading-edge technology in the run-up to London 2012, of which it is a major global sponsor.

Equipment presented in the centre at Pinewood includes: LCD and plasma screens up to 103” in size with 3D capability; the D-Imager Motion Tracking Capture Camera; U-Touch Touch Screen; and Panasonic Active Shutter 3D Screen.

Mediastation Head of Sales and Marketing, Nick Bennett commented: “This is a true win-win deal for Panasonic and for Mediastation. It means that Panasonic’s display products benefit from showing world-leading digital content which maximizes customer interest, and Mediastation’s output is showcased on the most advanced equipment in the world and at a fabulous venue.”

Panasonic Demonstration Sales Manager, Tony Molloy commented: “Having Mediastation’s content displayed on the very latest Panasonic screen technology is hugely advantageous as the content is so rich and inviting and really demonstrates the LCD screens. Their creative approach in experiential marketing has also been hugely advantageous and we are excited about the future possibilities of both companies working together in the future.”
